There are several groups who are doing studies related with school food, childhood obesity, nutrition, healthy eating habits, local and organic food for kids. Most of those groups need website, public support, and better communication environment such as online discussion board, wiki. IwantHealthyFood.org would like to provide a common portal website for different group needs, and then each group will have their own section which they can establish their own discussion group, wiki, list of links. On the other hand they can introduce themselves to public, share and discuss ideas with other groups on the common area; ask for support from public; establish email list; distribute newsletter to email list; share their bios; and other useful features.

Our first group was Colorado Farm-to-Cafeteria group. The Farm-to-Cafeteria group is interested in creating Farm-to-Cafeteria programs in Colorado. The group was formed in 2006, with members from Rocky Mountain Farmers Union, Denver Urban Gardens, the Colorado Farm Bureau, Colorado State University and the Colorado Foundation for Agriculture.

Healthy Food Connection Project was our second group on our portal. The project is aiming to establish a bridge between the school food services and producers by providing user friendly application on the web. 

We have been hosting Our Love of Children Foundation website since 2007.

INEP (INTEGRATED NUTRITION EDUCATION PROGRAM) has joined us in 2008.

Access to Healthy Food Colorado and Web-base Nutrition Education groups have been using  our site just for colobration.

We are looking for other groups who would like to use our portal.
